So sad to hear this news. Bob and I were in elementary school together in Bible Hill. We linked up again 25 years later when I was a dentist in Hampton and he was a senior employee with NB Tel. Bob was such a nice person and only did what he believed in. He definitely had high standards and morals. What a great laugh. Bob lived beside the College Road Elementary School in Bible Hill. At recess, we would run over to the fence and his mom would give us a treat. My sincere condolences. Bill Rector

Bob and I were friends since 1960s when we met at university of New Brunswick. We shared many adventures together including one summer job photographing every rain gauge in NB and NS. We destroyed the undercarriage of two cars travelling uncharted roads. In our adventures over time Bob always said as young people always do “ I hope I live life to the fullest, with many risky adventures, then when it is my time, to simply go to sleep and not wake up”. To the end Bob loved life and passed his way. Farewell my friend.

Heartfelt sympathy to all the members of Bob’s family. He was a great friend and a true gentleman. We will miss him. RIP.
