Moncton, NB – Alfred LeBlanc, 91, passed away at Villa du Repos, Moncton, on Saturday, June 24th, 2017.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and Madeleine (Robichaud) LeBlanc.

Alfred was an avid bowler and he had great passion for Bluegrass music, a program he hosted on radio for a number of years. He was also a fourth degree Knights of Columbus.

Alfred will be sadly missed by his children, Jeanette LeBlanc of Moncton, Jeanita d’Avino (Pat) of Ontario, Marcia Gaudet (Gilles) of Memramcook, Marina Hornsby (Fraser) of Oromocto, Catherine Primeau (Louis) of Moncton, Thérèse LeBlanc (Chuck) of Moncton, Léo LeBlanc (Diane) of Bouctouche, Anita LeBlanc of Moncton; his two sisters, Yvonne Cormier (Camille) and Marina Landry (late Tony) both of Moncton; his brother, Léo LeBlanc (Mary Baker) of Montreal, QC; his thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Aldona Elizabeth LeBlanc (2014); three sisters, Marguerite Cormier (Aldérice), Anita Landry (Néri) and Thérèse LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, June 29th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church in Moncton, on Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at 4 pm. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
