Grande-Digue, NB – Julia MacKay, 18, passed away accidently in an automobile accident, on Saturday, August 5th, 2017.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of Stephen and Thérèse (Gallant) MacKay.
Julia was a very talented artist and song writer (specialising in Rap), liked to draw sketches and loved to play drums since she was little. She was a kind hearted and giving person; she cherished her family, friends, her dog, Meeka and loved everyone she met. She also previously donated her hair for cancer survivors.
Besides her parents, Julia will be sadly missed by her brother, Jonathan of Grande-Digue; her step-brother, Noah LeBlanc of Moncton; her paternal grandparents, Stewart (Evie) of Pugwash NS and Ann MacKay (Bob) of Essex, England; her maternal grandmother, Laura Methot (André) of St-Philippe; her maternel great grandmother, Marie Robichaud of Lakeside; her step-mother, Donna LeBlanc and step-father, Mike Vienneau; her aunts, Lisa and Christine; her uncles, Ronald, David, Gaston; her cousins, Émilie, Sophie, Isaac, Miguel, Milika and Bryan.
Julia was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Fidèle Gallant.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 11:30 am. Burial will be in Passage columbarium in Shediac Bridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Atlantic Wellness Community Centre in Riverview, Mobile Crisis Centre, Moncton High Guidance Dept. would be appreciated by the family.
