1940 ~ 2019
Grande-Digue, NB, Pierre Arsenault, 79, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
Born in Lewisville NB, he was the son of the late Aurèle and late Gertrude Arsenault (born Comeau).
Pierre was a well-known stock car driver and was proudly carrying number 84. Pierre was one of the founding fathers of Mascar. Also, he was a really good and well-known hockey player. He played for the Blue Eagles of the Université de Moncton.
Pierre will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gloria Arsenault of Grande-Digue; one son, Marc Arsenault (Emily) of Saint John; two daughters, Lisa Doiron (Kevin) and Monique Parks (Ralph) both of Saint John; two brothers, Normand Arsenault of Moncton and André Arsenault (Verna) of Grande-Digue; four sisters, Louise Gilbert of Moncton, Simonne Rossignol (Gérard) of Bal Moral, Suzanne Hopper (Jim) of Moncton and Denise Arsenault (Jim) of Grande-Digue; five grandchildren, Jeffry, Alyssa, Kyle, Trevor and Amanda; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Éric and Gérald.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 10am to 12pm and from 1pm followed by a Celebration of Pierre’s Life at Passage Chapel at 3 pm.
