It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bobby”’ Bourque, 61, on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, at the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of Rose May Bourque (Allain) and the late Leonide Bourque.

Bobby worked as a long-haul truck driver for 40 years, driving for numerous companies throughout his career.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Rose May Bourque of Bouctouche Bay; his daughter, Michelle Bourque of Winnipeg; his brother, Maurice Bourque (Maxine) of Richibouctou-Village; his sister, Julie Bourque (Ian) of Shediac; as well as his special niece, Chantal Bourque.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of 3F at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre as well as the staff of the Albert House Hospice for the great care they provided.

In respect to Bobby’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

Donations in memory of Bobby can be made to the Albert House Hospice or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
