In Loving Memory Of
Adrien “Lobster, Morgan” Poirier
1939 - 2022

Scoudouc – Adrien “Lobster, Morgan” Poirier, 82, passed away on Monday, May 2nd, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Shediac Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Olive (Caissie) Poirier.

Prior to retirement, he worked for 26 years at Lockwood in Scoudouc. He enjoyed gardening, farming, fishing, boating and was always there to help everyone at anytime.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Cormier); his daughters: Alice Reader (Paul) of Scoudouc, Gloria Cogswell (Pete) and Marise Caissie (Jean-Claude Caissie), both of Moncton, Joséphine Melanson (Justin) of Cap-Pelé and Nicole Allen (Adam) of Lakeside; his son, Adrien Jr. (Janika) of Scoudouc; his grandchildren: Josh, Melissa, Danielle, Kelvin, Gabryelle, Megan, Luka, François, Andréa and Alex; his great grandchildren: Angelica, Ray, Isabelle, Vera and Ruby; his sisters: Christine Doiron (late Gerald) and Noëlla LeBlanc (Hervé), both of Shediac Bridge; his brother, Norbert (Gisele) of Montreal; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his fur babies: Snoopy, Fluffy and Tiger.

He was predeceased by his sisters: Dorina, Amanda, Rita and Leola and by his brothers: Amand, Léonce, Normand, Blair, Donald and Camille.


Visitation will be held from Passage – 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506) 532-1050, on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 from 9 am to 10:55 am, followed by the service in the chapel at 11 am.

A donation can be made to the CHU-Dumont Foundation.

  4. My deepest condolences to Dianne and Alice. Was saddened to read of the passing of Adrien. He will truly be missed by any who knew him. Dianne, you had a great guy and I know that there are many happy memories for you to cherish. Alice I believe that you also will have a lot of good memories of a fun loving and hard working father who , I am sure , you will miss.
