Aimé Ruest, 80, of Villa Providence Inc., Shediac and formerly of Saint-Grégoire, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence, on Friday April 13, 2018. He was married to the late Florence Rossignol (2013). Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, he was the son of the late Paul and the late Marie-Louise (Desjardins) Ruest.
He will be sadly missed by his six children; Linda Ruest of Saint-Grégoire, Janice Clavet of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Pauline Gagnon (Jean-Marie) of Grand-Falls, Donald, Raymond of Saint-Grégoire and Jean of Bouctouche Bay, his eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn six sisters; Gaetane Cormier (Claude), Catherine, Jacqueline, Julienne, Marthe Desjardins and Marie Gagnon.
He was predeceased by one grandson Mathieu (2008) as well as several brothers and sisters.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday April 27, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm followed by a funeral service at the Funeral Home at 3:00 pm with interment in the Notre-Dame de Lourde parish Cemetery in the spring.
