Dieppe, NB – Ainnie Marie LeBlanc (Cormier), 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Thursday, March 7, 2019.

Born in Haute-Aboujagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Cormier and the late Evangéline Cormier (nee Richard).

Ainnie was loved by her family and by others. She was the “Chartersville Nanny”, the neighborhood seamstress and the white fudge maker for all special occasion, her signature dish was homemade rolls and fricot. Her favorite pass time was bingo and she was the life of any party.

Ainnie will be sadly missed by her two sons, Roméo of Fredericton and David of Moncton; her five daughters, Gisèle Goguen (Pierre) of Salisbury, Anita Breau (Paul) of Mass, USA, Roberta Weatherbie (Allan) of Moncton, Jacqueline LeBlanc of PEI and Lucille LeBlanc (Tim) of Moncton; her three brothers, Donald (Joan) of Dartmouth, NS, Gerald (Claudia) of Grand-Barachois, Normand (late Bernadette) of Haute-Aboujagane; her sister, Irma LeBlanc (Albert) of Scoudouc; her seven grandchildren, Nichole, Christine, Isabelle, Mathieu, Nickolas, Tyler and Maggie; her sisters-in-law, Theresa Arsenault and Claire Cormier; her special goddaughter, Diane LeBlanc; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Valérie, Ernie, Joseph and Fred; four sisters, Edna, Elise, Géraldine and Clémence; the father of her children, Roger LeBlanc.

Private visitation and funeral service were held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625 Mountain Rd, Corner West Lane, Moncton), on Monday, March 11, 2019.
