In Loving Memory Of
Albert Green
1929 ~ 2024

Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Green, 94, on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late John and the late Jennifer Green.

Albert was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He will be sadly missed by Tatiana Filippova whom he called his “adopted daughter”; his friend: Omer Richard of Moncton and his favorite nurse at the nursing home: Hannah Gallant.

Albert was a social butterfly; he would always have something to talk about and joke around. He talked a lot about his brother Alfred, that he missed a lot. He loved animals and to play Lotto 649, he was always hopeful that one day he would win.

As per Albert’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lakeville, where he will rest in peace with his closest brother: Alfred.

Thank you to the staff at the Kenneth E. Spencer’s Nursing Home in Moncton for the good care provided.

  1. Albert was known by nieces & nephews as well as many others as Uncle John. He was a very kind man with lots of wit and humour for everyone that engaged with him. His mind remained very sharp as he could remind others of events and times, as well as numerous dates of birth of mostly family members. He had a love for all animals in particular dogs. In Uncle John’s memory a donation was made to PAWS
