Cocagne, NB – Albert Melanson, 68, passed away accidentally in St-Thomas-de-Kent, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Anselme and the late Rita Melanson (nee Nowlan).
Albert will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda Melanson (nee Allain); his two daughters, Lisa Mann (Kevin) of Shediac and Diane Clarke of Dieppe; his three brothers, Ola, Rhéal both of Bouctouche and Aurel Girouard (Marie) of Cocagne; his three sisters, Jeannita Cormier (Wilfred) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Stella Cormier (Cédric) and Carmella LeBlanc (Claude) both of Bouctouche; his four grandchildren, Devon, Alyssa, Brayden and Kaylee; also by several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Monday morning. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne, Monday, April 8, 2019 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Blanche Bourgeois School Lunch Box in Cocagne, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity or your choice.
