Grande-Digue, NB – Albert Vincent Gallant, 57, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Azèle (Downing) Gallant

Optimist, always in a good mood and was loved by those who knew him, Albert never lost courage during his disease. He loved nature, his music, his cat and especially his garden which he was very proud.

Albert will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Annette Zwalen (Ernst) of Mundleville, Lucienne LeBlanc (Paul) of Grande-Digue, Stella Demetre (late George) of Shediac, Christine Arseneau (Charles) of Moncton, Aimé (Aline) of Grande-Digue, Antoine (Dorothy) of Shediac, Diane Rodgers (Dave) of Grande-Digue, Charles Gallant of Shediac and Lorette Mueller (Walter) of Mundleville; also by several aunts, nieces, nephews and his neighbor and good friend, Thérèse Bourgeois.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Michel (1986).

Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, October 17th, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at Passage Funeral Chapel, on Monday, October 17th, 2016 at 4 pm.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
