In Loving Memory Of
Alberte Paulin
1929 ~ 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the departure of our mother, Alberte Paulin, 94, which occurred on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton NB.

She was the wife of the late Gérard Paulin, daughter of the late Corinne LeBlanc and the late Albert Robichaud and sister of the late Bernice Cormier.

She leaves to mourn her children: Jacques (Diane), Michelle (late Rodrigue), Marc (Nicole), Jocelyne (Clarence) and Mario (Marie-Pierre); his grandchildren: Étienne, Astrée, Ernesto, Geneviève, Renée, and Alexi; as well as the great-grandchildren: Léa, Maylis, Frédérique, Marcus, Gabriel, Hendrix and several nephews and nieces.

Originally from Bouctouche, she continued her post-secondary studies in Quebec and Montreal in social services.

She founded the circle of “Dames d’Acadie” in Bathurst and was a member of the circles in Campbellton and Dieppe. She volunteered at the Georges Dumont Hospital for 40 years.

An artist at heart, she loved dancing, shows, traveling, curling, pétanque, cards and above all she loved living near the sea like in St. Petersburg, at the Tracadie dune and at the Pointe-du-Chêne cottage.

Visitations will be at Passage-Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901, on Wednesday, April 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The funeral will be celebrated at Christ-Roi RC Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton NB at 10:30 a.m.

  1. Alberte will always be remembered fondly by each and every one of her friends and neighbours. Always smiling, loved to curl and, most of all, loved to go swimming each day at Pointe-du-Chene.
Time waits for no one….however, Alberte has now joined a lot of our mutual friends in heaven! Bye for now! Always in my thoughts!

  2. Dear Jocelyn and family:

So sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. My memory of her will always be driving by our cottage on her bike heading for a swim with a smile on her face. Our condolences. Howard and Nancy (Robins) Frame

  3. Diane & Jacques, I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my deepest condolences. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
