Dieppe, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alderic Gallant, 94, of Auberge du soleil, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in St-Ignace, NB, he was the son of the late Felix and the late Exilda (Richard) Gallant.
Prior to his retirement, Alderic was the manager at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery in Dieppe.
He is survived by his wife, Camilla (Daigle) Gallant; by his sons: Terry (Anne Goguen) of Moncton and Daniel (Jocelyne St-Onge) of Dieppe; by his grandchildren: Taylor, Justin, Laura and Hannah; by his sisters: Sylvia (late Sterling) of USA, Yolande (Camille) of Belleville, ON, Rosa of St-Ignace, Jeannette (Normand) of Moncton and Madeleine of St-Louis-de-Kent; by his brothers: Maurice (Simonne) and Delphin (Roberte), both of St-Ignace, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, George in 1984; by his sisters: Antoinette, Juliette and Idora and by his brothers: Infant Alban, Euzèbe, Emile and Paul.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
In Alderic’s memory, a donation can be made to a memorial of choice.
