Scoudouc, NB – Aldéric LeBlanc, 90, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
Born in Îles de la Madeleine, QC, he was the son of the late Aldéric SR. and the late Marie-Jeanne LeBlanc (born Déraspe).
Aldéric will be missed by his children, Jeanne Brown (Al) of Shediac, Claire Gallant (Zoël) of Galloway, Jack (Doris) of Shediac, Jim (Pauline) of Scoudouc and Julie LeBlanc of Gananoque, ON; his brother, Walter (Marguerite) of Dieppe; his sister, Loretta Comeau (late Bob) of Meteghan, NS; his ten grandchildren and his six great granchildren ; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary LeBlanc (born Gallant) in 2014; his sister, Clara Gaudet (Gilbert).
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 11 am with burial in St-Jacques-le-Majeur Cemetery in Scoudouc. Followed by a reception at the “Club d’âge d’or” in Scoudouc.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
