Grande-Digue, NB – Aldona Brun, 71, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lévi and Précille (Duguay) Cormier.
Aldona will be sadly missed by her husband, Normand; her son, Yvon (Ginette) of Grande-Digue; her three daughters, Yvette Bourgeois (Robert), Annette Goguen (Mike) and Nicole all of Moncton; her two brothers, Philippe (Louisa) and Victor (Stella) both of Cocagne; her three sisters, Patricia Henze (Charles) of Windsor, ON, Bernice LeBlanc (Léonard) of Moncton and Gisèle Bourque (Marcel) of Cocagne; her six grandchildren, Rhéal, Julie, Mélanie, Brandon, Mathieu and Christine; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Léola Melanson and one brother, Gilbert Cormier.
As per Aldona’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral Mass will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Friday, July 25 at 11 am.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
