Alexina Auffrey, 92, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away surrounded by her loving daughters on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Saint-Paul de Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clément and the late Amanda (née: Drisdelle) Albert.
Alexina moved from Saint-Paul at the age of 17, where she met her husband, Aurèle. She became a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by three daughters: Ginette (Brent) Pettipas of Moncton, Nadine Babin of Beresford and Lynne (Mike) McCrea of Moncton; one brother, Clovis Albert of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Shawn (Marie-Ève), Krista, Mathieu, Véronique, Christopher and Stephanie; two great grandchildren: Miles and Lia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aurèle in 2011; three sisters: Exelda, Leona and Edmée and also by two brothers: François and Zoël.
DUE TO STORM WARNING, ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO THE FOLLOWING: Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on WEDNESDAY from 1 pm until time of service.
A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on WEDNESDAY, February 15th, 2017 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
Entourée des ses filles bien-aimée, à sa résidence, le jeudi 9 février 2017, à l’âge de 92 ans, est décédée Alexina Auffrey. Elle demeurait à la Villa du Repos, Moncton.
Née à Saint-Paul de Kent, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Clément et de feu Amanda (née Drisdelle) Albert.
Elle déménage de Saint-Paul à l’âge de 17 ans, ou elle rencontre son époux, Aurèle. Elle devient épouse, mère, grand-mère et arrière grand-mère devouée.
Elle laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Ginette (Brent) Pettipas de Moncton, Nadine Babin de Beresford et Lynne (Mike) McCrea de Moncton; un frère, Clovis Albert de Dieppe; six petits-enfants: Shawn (Marie-Ève), Krista, Mathieu, Véronique, Christopher et Stephanie; deux arrière petits-enfants: Miles et Lia; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Aurèle en 2011; trois soeurs: Exelda, Leona et Edmée ainsi que deux frères: François et Zoël l’ont précédée dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901) le MERCREDI de 13h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.
Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le MERCREDI 15 février 2017 à 14h.
Inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe.
