Alfred Arseneault

Shediac – Alfred Arsenault, 80, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 16th, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
 
Born in Saint-Charles-de-Kent on March 11th, 1931, he was the son of the late Amedée and Marie (Ouelette) Arseneault.
 
Alfred was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
 
Alfred will be sadly missed by his brother, Pierre Arsenault (Blaise) of Saint-Charles-de-Kent; three nieces, Marge Roy (Normand) of Cocagne, Marina Richard (Léonard) of St-Antoine and Jeannita Cormier (Léo) of Renauds Mills; two nephews, Bernard Arseneault (Laura) of Waltham, Mass, Alvin Arseneault (Corinne) of Richibouctou-Village.
 
He was predeceased by two brothers, Eloi, Joseph; his sister, Eva; five half-brothers, Neldy, Arthur, Israël, Emile, Alcide and his half-sister, Eva.
 
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, July 19th from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, July 20th from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at Saint-Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Wednesday, July 20th at 3 pm. Interment will follow at the Saint-Charles-de-Kent cemetery.
