Alfred (Fred) Mazerolle

Moncton – Alfred Mazerolle, 82, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 21st, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
 
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent on July 6, 1928, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Petitpas) Mazerolle.
 
Fred has worked as foreman for MacDonald’s Paving and as foreman at the Town of Shediac; also he was past President of the Club d’Âge d’Or Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix.
 
Fred will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie, his two sons, Robert Mazerolle (Rosella) of Barachois, Roger Mazerolle of Kingston, ON; his brother, René Mazerolle (Anna) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; his grandson, Joël; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
 
He was predeceased by two brothers, Edouard, Raymond, and one infant brother, Aldéric.
 
Special thank you to the doctors and the nurses at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
 
Visitations will be held at Passage in Moncton (625 Mountain Rd) on Friday, May 27th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 28th from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral service will be at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix RC Church on Saturday, May 28th at 11 am. The ashes will be deposited in the Columbarium at Passage in Shediac Bridge.
 
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
