Alfreda Bastarache, 53 of Cocagne, wife of Donald Bastarache passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday February 1st, 2007 at the Laval Hospital, Quebec
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and late Rita (Née Roy) Bastarache. She attended the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne. She was a nurse’s aid for approximately 10 years. Alfreda is survived by her husband; Donald, one daughter; Lisa Bastarache (Daniel Dallaire) of Cocagne, one son; Ronald (Anise) of Dixon Point, three grandchildren; Chanelle, Jeremy, Monica, five brothers; Ronald (Marie-Paul), Eric (Emilienne) both of Gardner, Mass., Donat of Fitshburg, Mass., Amédée (Annette) of Saint-Norbert de Kent, Alonzo of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and also several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one brother; Aldéo, and one sister; Betty.
Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche with visitation on Tuesday February 6, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday February 7th from 2 to 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Church, Cocagne at 4:00 PM on Wednesday February 7th, 2007. Internment will be in Parish Cemetery.
In Alfreda’s memory donations to the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
