St-Antoine, NB – Alfreda Cormier, 68, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, NB on May 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Délia (Mills) Collette.
Alfreda will be sadly missed by her husband, Lionel; her son, Daniel of Turtle Creek Rd.; her two daughters, Crystal Cormier (Dale Killam) of Turtle Creek Rd. and Cheena Snook (Junior) of Hillsborough; her brother, Roger Collette (Gail) of Riverview; her two sisters, Aline Holmes of Moncton and Jannette Hewett (Fred) of Pennsylvania; her eight grandchildren, Cody, Jaralynne, Mathew, Jothan, Jaithan, Shalisha, Aneesia and Tayte; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Theophile; three sisters, Della, Diana, Linda; and one brother, Junior.
Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, June 14, from 10 am until time of the funeral service at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 11 am, with Reverend Phil Mulligan officiating.
