Alice Ibbitson, 54, of Saint-Philippe, passed away on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton; surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Saint-Philippe, NB, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (née: Maillet) and the late Henri Williams.
Alice had worked for 28 years at the Dumont Hospital as a menu clerk. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Poker and 200.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth (Eloi) Leger of Dieppe; her husband, Roxie; two daughters: Kayla (Jeremy) Atkinson and Natinna (Shay Clarke), both of Moncton; two sisters: Diane (Aurele) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Therese Williams (Mike Smith) of Saint-Philippe; three brothers: John Williams of Saint-Antoine, Claude Williams of Dieppe and Leandre (Jennifer) Williams of Saint-Philippe; one adoptive sister, Brenda (late Normand) Bastarache of Shediac River; one grandson, Harrison; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the extended Ibbitson family.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at the Club d’Age d’Or in Saint-Philippe.
Interment in Saint-Philippe Parish Cemetery.
Donations to the CHU-Dumont or Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundations (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
Entourée de sa famille et amis, au centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, le mercredi 13 juin 2018, à l’âge de 54 ans, est décédée, Alice Ibbitson. Elle demeurait à Saint-Philippe au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Née à Saint-Philippe, N.-B., elle était fille de Elizabeth (née Maillet) et de feu Henri Williams.
Alice à travaillé pendant 28 ans à l’hôpital Dumont comme commis au menu. Elle aimait jouer aux cartes, surtout aux Poker et 200.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa mère, Elizabeth (Eloi) Leger de Dieppe; son époux, Roxie; deux filles: Kayla (Jeremy) Atkinson et Natinna (Shay Clarke), toutes deux de Moncton; deux soeurs: Diane (Aurele) LeBlanc de Dieppe et Therese Williams (Mike Smith) de Saint-Philippe; trois frères: John Williams de Saint-Antoine, Claude Williams de Dieppe et Leandre (Jennifer) Williams de Saint-Philippe; une sœur adoptive, Brenda (feu Normand) Bastarache de Shediac River; un petit-fils, Harrison; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines, amis et la famille Ibbitson.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901) le dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
Une Célébration de la Parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le lundi 18 juin 2018 à 10h30, suivi par une réception au Club d’Age d’Or de Saint-Philippe.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Saint-Philippe.
Un don aux Fondations CHU-Dumont ou à l’hôpital de Moncton (Oncologie) serait apprécié par la famille.
