Alice Petitpas, 86, of Bouctouche and formerly of Adamsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Monday March 15, 2021 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. She was married to the late Norman Petitpas (1992). Born in Saint-Sosime, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and the late Valerice (Gautreau) Gauvin.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Anne Petitpas of Moncton, Evelyn Petitpas, David (Dianne) of Saint-Sosime, Gerald (Mary-Ellen) of Bellerica, MA, her eight grandchildren; Christopher, Jennifer, Terry, Amy, Lisa, Joey, Edward and Scott, her seven great grandchildren; Meagan, Alisha, Rebecca, Paige, Nicolas, Mark and Erik as well as three great great grandchildren; Kobe, Kacy and Alec. She also leaves to mourn several nephews and nieces.
Alice was predeceased by one son Eddie (2016), four sisters; Ida, Della, Lina, Leda and three brothers; Eddie, Albert and Edgar.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic restrictions, a private family visitation and a private funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Adamsville parish cemetery in the spring.
