Dora and I thought very highly of Alida as Dora and Alida went to the same school in Baie Ste Anne and I got to know Alida when she was the President of the Dieppe Golden Age Club and I was the President of the Dieppe Veterans Association and we held our meetings at the Club. We always discussed many items together and we always had a positive outcome for both the members and the veterans. When she retired as President of the Club she was surely missed.

  10. My condolences to the Clement family, may you find comfort in your memories and the love that you shared with each other.

  11. Sincere condolences to the family, I always enjoy my chats with Mrs. Clément and had great respect for her. XOXO

  12. I only learned of Alida’s passing recently while reading my pile of newspapers accumulated while we were in a “warmer place”. I remember her when she was the nurse for many years for Dr. Ian Curry, a plastic surgeon. She was a calm, patient person to look after the often chaotic office of a busy surgeon. This was especially so, after Dr. Curry became ill, recovered and then became ill again eventually passing away. I looked after Dr. Curry’s financial affairs and had to visit about every month and Alida would arrange for me to slip in to see Dr. Curry because she knew it was important. I was pleased to read she had a busy retirement. May she rest in peace.
