St-Antoine – Aline LeBlanc, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 11th, after a brief illness.
Born in St-Damien, NB on February 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ambroise and Marie-Rose (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Aline will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Astrid Goguen (Edouard) of Cocagne, Aldéa Cormier (Oscar) of St-Antoine; her two sons, Fernand LeBlanc (Murielle) of St-Damien, Jacques LeBlanc (Phyllis) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; her four brothers, Léandre Cormier (Rosée) of St-Antoine, Nap Cormier (Irma) of Moncton, Albéo Cormier (Rose-Marie) of St-Damien, Aldérice Cormier of McKees Mill; her twelve grandchildren; her nine great grandchildren; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irénée; four sisters, Elmire, Melendé, Alvina, Evelyne; three brothers, Roger, Clément, Donald and a granddaughter, Sophia.
Visitation will be held at the St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church Slumber Room in St-Antoine on Friday, May 13th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 14th from 10 am until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Antoine de l’Ermite RC Church in St-Antoine on Saturday, May 14th at 11 am.
Donations to the Foyer St-Antoine, Canadian Diabetes Association, Maison Nazareth or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
