Portage – Aline Léger, 78, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, January 7, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Marguerite (Caissie) Boudreau.
Aline will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Denise Léger of Corner Brook, NL, Gilberte Doelle (Seigmar) of Plympton, NS, Jacqueline Léger-Bourque (Charles) of Grande-Digue; her son, Blair of Cap-Pelé; her brother, Roméo Boudreau (Marguerite) of Gardner, MASS; her six grandchildren, Olivier, Meyer, Alexis, Guillaume, Emilie, Lucie; also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Guillaume; two brothers, Léo and Laurie; and one sister, Doris.
Visitations will be held at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church slumber room in Cap-Pelé on Monday, January 9th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, January 10th from 9:30 am until time of the funeral service at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CNIB, to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
