Alonzo Richard, 90, of Shediac and formerly of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday February 14, 2022. He was married to Eveline (Arsenault) Richard. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Amanda (Cormier) Richard.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Eveline, his two sons; Dale André Michel of Moncton and Terrance of New York, his four grandchildren; Brody, Cedric, Richard, Shawn, five great grandchildren; Chad, Natasha, Nisha, Max, Jessise and one great great grandchild; Bianca. He also leaves to mourn his two sisters; Dorine Cormier of Bouctouche, Lorraine Graham of Niagara Falls, one brother; Donald (Alexina) of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one daughter; Imelda, six sisters; Ella, Geneva, Noella, Anise, Corinne and Geneva and one brother; Gerald.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday May 27, 2022 form 1:00 to 3:00 pm followed by the Service at 3:00pm. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Cemetery in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.
