Bouctouche, NB – Alphée Arsenault, 85, passed away peacefully at his residence, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, after a sudden illness.
Born in Richibouctou-Village, NB on January 8, 1929, he was the son of the late Edouard and the late Yvonne (Caissie) Arsenault.
Alphée lived forty years of his life in Massachusetts, USA.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of sixty-five years, Dina (Breau) Arsenault; his six sons, Terrence (Anne-Marie Covino) of Eugene,Oregon; Bernard (Regina Early) of Dennis Port, Mass., Maurice (Barbara Jean Taylor) of Milford, Mass., Paul (Cora Mae Brown) of Worcester, Mass., Wayne (Lucie Parenteau) of Blackstone, Mass., Brian (Valerie Prebys) of Tallahassee, FL; his two daughters, Janice Watson (Clifton) of Franklin, Mass., Jocelyn Arsenault (Sue Hall) of Douglas, Mass.; his sister, Rita Maillet (Georges) of Richibouctou-Village; his four half-sisters, Sister Alma of Sherbrooke, QC, Edith Douthright (Gary) of Elgin, Doris of Montreal, QC and Aline of Ontario; his two half-brothers, Paul (Julie) of Edmundston and Robert (Monique) of Dieppe; his fifteen grandchildren; his eight great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three infant sons.
Visitations will be at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 12 to 1:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St. Bernard RC Church on Botsford St. in Moncton, on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 2 pm.
