Shediac – Alphérie Boudreau,85, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, July 22, 2012 after a short illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Léonard and late Marguerite (Fougère) Boudreau.
Alphérie will be sadly missed by his daughter, Nora Boudreau of Shediac; his daughter-in-law, Claudette Boudreau of Dieppe; two grandchildren, Serge and Marc; one great grandchild, Gabrielle; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Alphérie was predeceased by his wife, Julie (Robichaud) Boudreau; his son, Gérard; two brothers, Alonzo and Philippe.
In respect to Alphérie’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Thursday, July 26th, 2012 at 11 am. Burial to follow at the parish cemetery.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, to Dr. Georges L. Dumont Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
