Alphonse LeBlanc, 89, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Saturday, April 13th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Fox Creek, he was the son of the late Edouard "Ned" and the late Alexina (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Alphonse was the owner of A.E. LeBlanc Trucking and Construction, a member of Saint-Anselme parish and a former member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Saint Anselme.
He enjoyed summers at the cottage and the trailer.
He is survived by two daughters: Murielle (Claude) LeBlanc of Fox Creek and Rose-Marie Crain (Dave Fraser) of St-Anselme; two sons: Jean-Paul of Notre-Dame and Charles (Wendy) of St-Anselme; one brother, Alderice (Rita) of St-Anselme; four grandchildren: Michelle (Jonathan), André (Joselle), Natalie and Nikki; three great grandchildren: Janie, Alex and Caleb; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents; he was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine in 2009; three sisters: Rita, Stella and Aurore and also by four brothers: Raymond, Omer, Hervé and Gerald.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital "Oncology" or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundations would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Fox Creek, il était fils de feu Edouard «Ned» et de feu Alexina (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Alphonse était propriétaire de A.E. Trucking and Construction, il était membre de la paroisse et autrefois membre du Club d’Age d’Or de Saint-Anselme. Il aimait l’été au chalet et à la roulotte.
Il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Murielle (Claude) LeBlanc de Fox Creek et Rose-Marie Crain (Dave Fraser) de St-Anselme; deux fils: Jean-Paul de Notre-Dame et Charles (Wendy) de St-Anselme; un frère, Alderice (Rita) de St-Anselme; quatres petits-enfants: Michelle (Jonathan), André (Joselle), Natalie et Nikki; trois arrière petits-enfants: Janie, Alex et Caleb; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents; son épouse, Lorraine en 2009; trois soeurs: Rita, Stella et Aurore ainsi que quatres frères: Raymond, Omer, Hervé et Gerald l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901) le lundi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que le mardi de 10h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, le mardi 16 avril, 2013, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial Saint-Anselme, à Dieppe.
Un don aux Fondations de l’Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont «Oncologie» ou maladies du cœur serait apprécié par la famille.
