Riverview, NB – Alphonsine Jean-Fournier, 68, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her family, on Friday, May 31, 2019.
Born in St-Isidore, NB, she was the daughter of late Alphonse and of the late Florida Jean (born Hébert). Alphonsine leaves behind her beloved husband, Maurice Fournier; her four children, Daniel Comeau, Jolaine Fournier (Nasser Salihou), Martin Fournier (Chelsey) and Dominic Fournier; two sisters, Émilie Thibault (Gilles) and Délima Basque (late Ernest); her three grandchildren, Catherine, Malik and Nayla; as well as all the other members of her close family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Christ-Roi RC Church (300 street Dominion, Moncton), Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11 am.
At the request of the family, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
Alphonsine has spent more than 40 years at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC as a nurse and the family today would like to thank all the staff for their compassion and care given to Alphonsine throughout her illness.
