Shediac – Alvin Caissie, 89, of Villa Providence, passed away, on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at his residence.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Hervé and the late Anna (Arsenault) Caissie.
Prior to retirement, M. Caissie was a lobster fisherman by trade. He enjoyed to play a good game of crib.
He is survived by his daughter, Bernice (René); his son, Pierre (Linda); his granddaughter, Rachelle (Trevor), all of Grande-Digue; his grandson, Mathieu of Montreal; his sister, Georgette (Josephat) of St-Thomas; his brother, Bernard of Shediac; his sisters-in-law: Stella (late Paul) and Claudette (late Valerie), as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Émerise (Caissie); his daughter, Linda; his son, Normand; his son-in-law, Gerry; his sisters: Geralda (Alcide) and Lina (Edouard) and also by his brothers: Henri (Excede), Armand (Eva-May), Paul, Edgar (Georgianne), Valerie, René (Alida) and Louis (Lucille).
