Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alyre
LeBlanc, 79, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Saint-Antoine-de-Kent on July 4, 1945, he was the son of the late Alyre LeBlanc and the late Eva (Saulnier) LeBlanc.
Alyre will be greatly missed by his sister Marie-Thérèse Surette (Donald) of Moncton and his brothers: Léo-Paul LeBlanc (Stella) of Scoudouc, Léandre Leger (Diane) of Moncton, Jean-Valmond LeBlanc (Phyllis) of Moncton, and Eugene Richard (Bernice) of Richiboucto-Village, and one sister-in-law, Bernadette LeBlanc of Moncton. He also leaves several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Other than his parents, Alyre was predeceased by a brother, Léon-Guy LeBlanc of Notre-Dame-de-Kent.
Donations may be made to the Department of Oncology at Dr. G. L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton in memory of Alyre.
Respecting the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A burial will take place in the spring at the Notre-Dame-de-Kent cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
