André Cormier, 86, of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Thursday August 22, 2024. He was married to the late Louise (Jaillet) Cormier (2018). Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Eddée and the late Hélène (LeBlanc) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his two children; Cecile Cormier (Roger) and Emerie both of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, one granddaughter; Josée Maillet. He also leaves to mourn one sister; Dorilla Goguen (late Lewis) of Tara, ON as well as several sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Eva, (2007), Bertha (2000), four brothers; Alyre (2009), Edgar (2022), Edouard (2006), Jean-Philippe (2024) and his son-in-law; Donald Maillet (2014)
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Friday August 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church on Friday August 30, 2024 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In memory of André, donations may be made to the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent parish fund.
