Andréa Bastarache, 77, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Saturday December 17, 2022. She was married to the late Sylvio Bastarache (2018). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Nélida (Boucher) Collette.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Linda Babineau (Daniel) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and Lucie Bastarache (Serge Melanson) of Haute-Aboujagane, her five grandchildren; Lyne, Annie, Johnathan, Justin, Katelyn, her five great grandchildren; Zac, Bryelle, Andy, Jaxson and Anabelle as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister, Viola and one brother, Normand.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Tuesday December 20, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
In Andréa’s memory, donations may be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche or to the Bouctouche Parish.
