André Cormier

Shediac, NB – André Cormier, 61, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Cocagne, NB on May 7, 1951, he was the son of the late Arcade and Marguerite (Bastarache) Cormier.

André will be sadly missed by his three sons, André (Fran) of Brampton, ON, Matthew (Tonia) of Cambridge, ON, Ricky (Sharla) of Edmonton, AB; by six brothers, Charles (Lucille) of St-Antoine, Jean-Paul (Simonne Savoie) of Breau Village, Guy of Moncton, Clarence (Florence Arsenault) and Donald (Marie-Élodie Cormier), both of Cocagne, Rhéal (Annette Caissie) of Grande-Digue; by his sister, Jeannette Maillet (Oswald) of Bouctouche; by his two grandchildren, Emily and Carson; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Patricia and one brother, Donat.

CHANGES DUE TO STORM

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, December 31 from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will be at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Monday, December 31 at 12pm.

Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont (Oncology Dept.), to the Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
