Shediac, NB – Anita Caissie, 80, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in Shediac, on Sunday, July 13, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Yvon and the late Laura (Brun) Caissie.
Anita will be sadly missed by her four sisters, Alice Légère (Oswald), Léona Cormier (late Donat) both of Cap-Pelé, Elizabeth Caissie (Claude) of Grande-Digue and Marguerite Després (Alyre) of Cocagne; her two brothers, Gérard (Yolande) of Grande-Digue and Thomas (Patsy) of Cocagne; also by several nieces, nephews and her special sister-in-law, Cora Caissie of Grande-Digue.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Hélène (1985); three brothers, Emmanuel (1984), Éloi (1985) and Philippe (2007).
In respect to Anita’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral Mass will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, July 16 at 2 pm.
Donations to the Chu Dumont Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
