Anita Richard, 92, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Simon and the late Georgina (née: Vautour) Niles.

Prior to retirement, Anita had worked at the Moncton Hospital for 15 years and was a member of Notre-Dame de Grâce parish.

She is survived by one daughter, Josette (Gilbert) King of Moncton; one son, David (Linda) of Moncton; two sisters: Yvonne (late Medard) Roy of Dieppe and Louisa (late Leandre) Maillet of Cap-Pelé; three grandchildren: Terra (Tony) Spencer, Brenna and Eric; one great granddaughter: Olivia Spencer; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alban in 1991 and also by several brothers and sisters.

No visitation.

A celebration of the word will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 at 10:30 am.

Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.

Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Moncton Employment and Training Services "METS" would be appreciated by the family.
