Annabelle Richard, 87, of Faubourg du Mascaret, Moncton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her residence on Wednesday May 8, 2024. She was married to Charlie Richard. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Florine (Allain) Bastarache.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Charlie, her four children; Denise Richard (Ghislain) of Tracadie, Claude (Joanne) of Fredericton, Paul of Bouctouche and Marc (Susan) of Quispamsis as well as her six grandchildren; Marcel, Chantal, Chloé, Julian, Liam, and Ezra and her six great grandchildren; Sophie, Rosalie, Everlee, Anna, Billie-Jo and Ayla. She also leaves to mourn her sister Emelda LeBlanc (Raoul) of Moncton her two brothers; Gerald of Bouctouche and Normand (Janet) of Stockbridge, GA as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two brothers; Sylvain and Paul.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday May 15, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on May 15, 2024 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish Cemetery.
In memory of Annabelle, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
