Moncton, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne D. Newcomb-Thibodeau, on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the age of 62, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Anne had just retired from Moncton City Hospital. She had a passion to help others and dedicated many years volunteering at several places. Her home was always a welcoming place for anyone. She was proud of all her nephews/nieces and especially her great nephew Connor for the smart, polite and mature little man he became. Matante will always be in your heart ♥. She enjoyed spending her summers at the camper in Cocagne. She especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Anne was born in Bouctouche, NB, she will be sadly missed by her parents: Frank Newcomb (Odila) and Nélida LeBlanc; her husband: Norbert Thibodeau; her children: Samuel Stovall (Christina) of Missouri, USA and Jennifer Hansen (James) of Saint John; her step daughter: Charline Thibodeau of Moncton; her precious granddaughters: Sawyer Hansen and Haley Barker; her brothers: Guy (Pam) of Saint John, Owen of Grande-Digue, Chris (Karen) of Memramcook and John (Lisa) of Bangor, Maine; her step-brother: Art Powell (Jackie) of Moncton; her best friend, whom she called her sister: Bettina Kay; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB E4R 1T3) 506.532-1050, on Thursday, January 5, 2022 from 2pm to 3:50pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 4pm.

A donation in her memory can be made to an organization of your choice.

  1. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I first knew Ann from the hospital and then found out she is my sister-in-law Diane’s niece. May she rest in peace.

  27. It hurts my heart that I’ve only found out recently you’ve passed. Through our ups and downs I’m am so thankful you where in my life. I can’t do a diamond painting or go to the movie without thinking about you.I hope you are safe and healthy in heaven ❤️
