Irishtown – Anne-Marie Haché, 70, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB on April 1, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Désiré and the late Sarah (Cormier) Allain.
Anne-Marie loved to cook for her family, read and do camping with her husband and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Edouard Haché of 47 years; three sons, Denis Hachey (Azi) of Halifax, NS, Victor Hachey (Berthe) of Irishtown and Claude Haché (Monique) of Ottawa ON; two brothers, Guy Allain (Claudette) and Jean-Marie Allain (Gisèle) both of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; six sisters, Jeanita Goguen (late Ulysse) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent, Lucille LeBlanc (Aldéo) of Moncton, Rita Richard (Louis) of St-Antoine, Pauline Sheann (Peter) of Dieppe, Fernande Goguen (Camille) of Cocagne and Jacinthe Bennett (Tim) of New Glasgow, NS; her three grandchildren, Sheldon, Sophia and Janie; also by several nieces and nephews. She also loved her in-laws on her husband side.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Léonard (1963); her daughter in-law, Karen (2003) and her sister in-law, Judy (1994) and her brother in-law Ulysse (1977).
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton, on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 9:30 till 10:30. Funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix RC Church, 87 Murphy Ave, Moncton on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flower, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Foundation Dr. Georges L. Dumont (Oncology Dept.) would be appreciated by the family.
