Dieppe, NB – Annette Hamilton, 74, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 13th, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Meadow Brook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Laurent and the late Madeleine (Leger) Bourque.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Hamilton was the co-owner of Hamilton’s Auto Body in Dieppe. She was a very social person, “she was the life of the party”. Annette had a passion for wine tasting, cooking; she and her husband, Danny enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing, but most of all her pride and joy was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Danny Hamilton; her sons: Brian Hamilton (Mona) of Dieppe and Jason Hamilton (Christine) of Greater Lakeburn; her step-son, Marc Mazerolle (Carole Després) of Baie-Ste-Anne; her grandchildren: Daniel, Brandon, Gregory, Gabrielle, Abigail and Finn; her sisters: Thérèse Belliveau (Leonard) of Dieppe and Florence Girouard (Émile) of Grande-Digue; her brother, Paul-Émile Bourque (Carmen) of Dieppe; the extended Hamilton family, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters: Cécile LeBlanc, Bernice Cormier, Helena Reath and Régina Belliveau and also by her niece, Norma Cormier.

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 am.

Funeral mass will be held from Ste-Thérèse RC Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at 11 am.

In Annette’s memory, a donation can be made to the CHU-Dumont Foundation “Arbre de l’Espoir”.
