Moncton, NB – Annette Hebert, 64, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, October 11, 2013, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, NB on August 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Geneva (LeBlanc) Richard.

Annette loved to listen to Elvis Presley’s music, to eat lobster, take long drives and go swimming in the pool. But most of all she loved her family. She had a weakness for shopping for her granddaughters, whom she adored.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Hebert; her daughter, Joelle Bateman (Benjamin) of Shediac Cape; her two sisters, Patricia Surette (Bernard) of Dieppe and Suzanne Richard (Claude Mazerolle) of Cocagne; her four brothers, Normand (Muriel), Bernard (Shelley), Daniel (Jeannette) all of Dieppe and David of Vancouver, BC; her two granddaughters, Analee and Kenzie; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Monday, October 14, 2013, from 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Tuesday. Funeral service will be held at the St. Martin’s-in-the-Woods Anglican Church in Shediac Cape on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2 pm with Ven. Archdeacon Richard McConnell officiating. A reception will follow for family and friends at the Young Smith Hall. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Fekhar; the extra-mural staff, Kim and Suzanne; the staff of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre and the staff of Jean Coutu Pharmacy at 404 St. George St, in Moncton; also family and friends for their compassion and support.
