Annie Cormier, 82 of Sainte-Marie de Kent has passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 6, 2010 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent. She was married to the late Job Cormier (1997). Born in Bouctouche on May 2nd, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Francois and the late Jeanne (Manuel) Mills.
Annie was an avid bingo and card player.
She will be sadly missed by her two children, Yvonne Goguen (Charles) of Sainte-Marie de Kent and Paul (Carole) of Bouctouche, one grandson Samuel, two sisters, Ida Duplessis (Late Raoul) of Bouctouche, Anita LeBlanc (Leonard) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, two brothers, Raymond of Bouctouche and Vincent (late Florence) of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Josée (2002), and two brothers, Joseph and Johnny.
Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday March 8th from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Tuesday March 9th, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
