Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce that on Thursday, March 17th, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton passed away peacefully Mr. Antoine Babin at the age of 78 years.
Born at Rosaireville, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur Babin and the late Céleste Babin born Bourque.
Antoine will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 59 years of marriage, Simonne Babin born Doiron of Moncton; his three sons, Antoine Babin Jr. (Chantal Roy) of Bathurst, Paul Babin (Janice) of Moncton and Charles (Annette Geneau) of Acadieville; four brothers, Émile Babin (late Stella Richard) of Moncton, Edmond Babin (Gerda Bittner) of Sainte-Foy, Qc, Ronald Babin (late Andréa Cormier) of Saint-Apollinaire, Qc, Gérard Babin (Lorraine) of Louiseville, Qc; and Fernand Babin (Chantale Poitras) of Brossard, Qc; his sister, Lucienne Doiron (late Raymond) of Montréal Qc; one sister-in-law, Estelle Doiron of New Hampshire; two brothers-in-law, Eloi (Delorès) of Richibucto and Jean-Louis (Sylvie) of Moncton; two grandchildren, Sophie and Samuel; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Antoine is now resting beside his two brothers, Jacques and Albert; his two brothers-in-law, Livain Doiron (Elmina) and Alibé Doiron (Thérèse) as well as his two sisters-in-law, Loretta (Arthur) and Madeleine (Cléophas).
Note that wearing your mask is strongly suggested to enter the Funeral Home and the Church.
Visitations will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Home of Dieppe on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 from 2pm until 3:30pm. The Funeral service will be held from the Sainte-Thérèse-de-L’Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church of Dieppe the same day at 4pm.
In his memory, a donation to the Acadieville Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
