Moncton, NB – Arcade Benoit of Moncton and formally of Leech, NB , 72, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Monday, March 3rd, 2014.

Born in Covedell, NB, he was the son of the late Aldée and the late Catherine Benoit (nee Richardson).

Arcade was a member of the 3rd degree Knights of Columbus, Council 6468 Parkton, Moncton and formally of the Council 7529, Rivière-du-Portage, NB.

Besides a special friend Corinne, he is survived by his ex-wife Georgina Brideau; seven brothers, Calixte, Ovila (Jeanne d’Arc), Albert (Jeannette), Ludger (Thérèse), Hédard (Madeleine), Valmond (Bernadette); seven sisters, Donalda (Roland), Lorina (Ulysse), Léa (Francis), Dorilla (Ronald), Elisabeth (Robert), Valmonde, Edith (Alain); and by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.


Besides his parents, Acarde was predeceased by a younger brother, Gérald.

In respect to Arcade’s wishes, there will be no visitations and no funeral service.
