Scoudouc, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpecting passing of Arcade LeBlanc, 83, of Scoudouc and formerly of Shemogue, on Friday, August 29th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Aimé and Béatrice (Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Prior to his retirement, he was a Small Rebar worker for 40 years. His proudest project was working on the Confederation Bridge between New Brunswick and PEI. Besides his work, he loved his family and friends. He was an amazing table dancer and he loved to laugh.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 61 years, Valerice (Bourque) LeBlanc; his five sons: Danny (Liane) of Dieppe, Darren (Janice) of Cap-Pelé, Donny (Amy) of Petit-Cap, Late Duane (2020); Dean (Nona) of Calgary and Douglas (Sally) of Scoudouc; by his five siblings: Mary McGregor (Harry) of Gaspé QC, Alfred of Cap-Pelé, Elise McLeod (Bruce) of Scoudouc, Claude (Camilla) of Shediac and Alban (Daniella) of Scoudouc; 10 grandchildren: Joshua, Sam, Justin, Joel, Ghislain, Noah, Tyson, Riley, Miley, Jonathan; 4 great grandchildren: Kylie, Jayden, Jordan and Daxx, as well as several cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Jude, Dorice, Joe, Ronald, Jean-Guy and Clovis.
Visitation will be held from the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Slumber Room, (downstairs at the church), Cap-Pelé, NB, on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, from 9 am to 10:15 am, followed by the funeral in the church at 10:30 am.
In Arcade’s memory, a donation can be made to the Boite à Lunch de Cap-Pelé.
