Aren Swinamer
1970 ~ 2023

Moncton, N.-B – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aren Swinamer, 53, that occurred on October 14th, 2023, at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James “Jimmy” Swinamer and the late Hazel (Roberts) Swinamer.

Aren loved his family, his aunts and uncles. He was always ready to make new friends and was a very kind-hearted person.

He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, John “Butch” Nolter; his two nieces: Sarah and Elizabeth; several grand nieces and nephews and cousins; a boss and a very special friend, John French as well as several friends.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Donna Nolter.

Graveside service will be held at the Whispering Pines Cemetery in Harcourt, on Wednesday, October 18th, at 1 pm, officiated by Cecil Symes.

Special thanks to the Alternative Residence in Dieppe, and to the doctor’s and nurses. Special thanks also to Aunt Jean. Thanks for prayers Pastor Paul and Pastor Philip.

  1. Deepest sympathy to Aren’s family and friends. So sorry to hear about Aren he was such a pleasant person, always looked forward to his friendly greetings at ARA.

  2. Condolences to the family! I never met him but knew his mom and dad and he sure looks like his dad! May the arms of God be around you all!

  3. We are so sad to hear the news of Aren’s passing but we carry with us good memories of our visits and time with Aren. His dream catcher that he gave his cousin will be a constant reminder of Aren. Peace and love to such a good soul, now he is resting in the arms of the angels.
