Born in Saint-Anne-de-Kent NB, he was the son of the late Siffroi and the late Délina Maillet (nee Gallant). Arice was a commercial fisherman until 1975 and then employed with the Provincial Department of Highways.
Arice will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Irène Maillet (nee Roy); by his children, Lisa (Jean-Guy), Ginette (Gerry) all of Dieppe and Rhéal (Monique) of Bouctouche. Arice was very close to his grandchildren, Daniel, Joanne, Nadine, Mélissa, Mélanie, Martin and Marc-André; as well to his great grandchildren, Patrick, Jacob, Danika, Catherine, Benjamin and Sophie; As welll as to his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his three sisters, Ella Jaillet, Anna Allain and Rita LeBlanc and by his brother, Aquila.
Visitations will be at Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church slumber room, 7611 Route 134, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 9:30am to 10:45am. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00 am.
