Arline Castilloux, 96, of Residence Oasis, Dieppe and formerly of Saint-Anselme, passed away on Sunday, November 20th, 2016, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Leah (née: Pettitt) Poore.
Mrs. Castilloux enjoyed knitting and was a former member of the Beausejour Curling Club and Saint-Anselme parish.
She is survived by three daughters: Colette Gaudet (late Roland) of Moncton, Lita Castilloux (Lorenzo LeBlanc) and Micheline Gaudet (Ted), both of Dieppe; three sons: Robert (Marie Colpitts) of Moncton, Michel (Diane Savoie) of Shediac and Roger of Dieppe; one son-in-law, Pat of Moncton; one sister, Milicent Dickenson of Fredericton; proud nanny to 22 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cyrille in 1991; one daughter, Jeannette in 2011; one sister, Roberta and also by one brother, Clarence.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, November 25th, 2016 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation "Palliative Care" would be appreciated by the family.
Au centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, le dimanche 20 novembre 2016, à l’âge de 96 ans, est décédée Arline Castilloux, elle demeurait à la résidence Oasis, Dieppe et autrefois de Saint-Anselme.
Née à Fredericton, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Robert et de feu Leah (née Pettitt) Poore.
Mme Castilloux aimait le tricot. Elle était autrefois membre du Beauséjour Curling Club et de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.
Elle laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Colette Gaudet (feu Roland) de Moncton, Lita Castilloux (Lorenzo LeBlanc) et Micheline Gaudet (Ted), toutes deux de Dieppe; trois fils: Robert (Marie Colpitts) de Moncton, Michel (Diane Savoie) de Shediac et Roger de Dieppe; un gendre, Pat de Moncton; une soeur, Milicent Dickenson de Fredericton; fière des ses 22 petits-enfants; 40 arrière petits-enfants et 7 arrière arrière petits-enfants; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Cyrille en 1991; une fille, Jeannette en 2011; une soeur, Roberta ainsi qu’un frère, Clarence l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le jeudi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h SEULEMENT.
Une célébration de la Parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le vendredi 25 novembre 2016, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial Saint-Anselme, Dieppe.
Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont «Soin Palliatif» serait apprécié par la famille.
