Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late James Bourgeois and the late Dora (Jaillet) Bourgeois.

Arthur will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Rita; his daughter Denise (Omer) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; his six brothers, François (Jeannette) of Maynard, Mass., Phil Bourgeois of Franklin, Mass., Claude Bourgeois of Oshawa, ON, Philippe Bourgeois of Shediac, Camille Bourgeois of Matane, QC and Telex Bourgeois (Aline) of Sudbury, ON; his three sisters, Louise (Robert) Richard and Jacqueline Belliveau, both from Shediac Bridge, and Annie (Eric) Gallant of Shediac; his four grandchildren, Geneviève, Xavier, Alexandre and Bianca; also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Oscar; four sisters, Alice, Irène, Georgette and Geneva; and by his stepmother, Laura.

Visitations will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6:00 pm until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm.

In memory of Arthur, donations to Paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Kent, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Boite à Lunch (Notre-Dame School) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
